“Beautiful setting on Lake Gogebic and nice view from the room. Room was quite small, two queen beds, a tv and a table and chair were about it. Coffee pot hadn't been cleaned. Dark and quiet which was awesome. Biggest disapointment was the pizza at the lodge. ”
“The motif was set in the late 50's early 60's. it's a classic.
The room was spacious. Hot water was hot.
The room was very clean.
I'd stay there again.”
“Room was dated but very clean. Mattresses were comfortable . Only issue was room was very warm and although thermostat was off, radiators were heating up. Opened windows and still too warm to sleep well. Should of turned ac on but didn't. Owner was very helpful.”
“Very nice stop in the northern woods. The check in wasn't smooth. We never received the access code so we had to call a number to receive the code. It was easy after we called but would have been nice to just receive it like the email stated. There was a cigarette butt in the planter by the door which was not attractive to nonsmokers arriving. There was also a leftover towel under the bed.
Otherwise, the room was very clean, the room was remodeled nicely, and it was a quiet place to stop……
“Just outside of the Porcupines, the location couldn't be beat! Nice view of Lake Superior as well. Room was clean and comfortable and good assortment of breakfast foods.”
“We were very pleased with our room in the Inn portion. The cabins looked great. We would happily return and stay in either. The breakfast was great. There's access to Lake Superior. The staff had recommendations that were very helpful. Overall, just a great experience.”
