"Our stay at the High Frontier Resort was only 3 days in the middle of the week, so we had the entire place to ourselves. Check-in was quick and easy, as our room keys were waiting and available at the door. "This is a very unique property. The photos don't reveal how large the studio is. Linens, toiletries, coffee, etc. are all top-shelf. The location provides quiet solitude, great vistas, an opportunity to see wildlife, and great night-sky viewing. It is only a few miles south of Fort Davis, and the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center is directly across the road from the entrance (highly recommended). We would definitely stay here again."

"Unacceptable that the elevator did not work ,I saw and helped elderly guests struggling to get the luggage up the stairs. at least make future guests aware of the situation, the restaurant you might as well close because there was no Staff around to seat use and other guests ,Waited 10-15 minutes then we all left to eat outside , really poor, no management to be found anywhere. "
