“Absolutely incredible stay in one of the most gorgeous settings. We traveled with our 7 year old son and loved the meals, activities, and overall peacefulness of the property. A true escape and luxury ranch experience. Hope to be back again soon.”

“Absolutely beautiful hotel! We stayed at room #5 which was a stand alone unit so it was basically like a little apartment. It had a beautiful interior and a fully stocked kitchen as well. The owner Jantzen was super friendly and helpful. The whole property was gorgeous. The next we come to Marfa we will be staying here again for sure!”

“Clean room, great location”

“This hotel is great for a place to stay for a night. No extravagant amenities, but met our needs for one night stay. It is not in town but close enough if you have a car to get to everything. Hot shower, very clean room and has soap and shampoo, and clean towels. Fridge and microwave for convenience. Hotel staff was very nice at check in.”

“Did not like the pet fee. based on the information from Expedia, pet was supposed to be $50.00. They charged me $75.00”

“We reserved the room after 5:00P on the same day we were going to stay there. The information said that I would be sent a key box code to retrieve the keys to the cottage since the office closes at 5:00. We arrived around 7:00. Nobody sent a code. Nobody answered the after-hours line, and nobody at Expedia could get a hold of the property contact. I left a message on the voice mail, but I couldn't just sit there outside the property waiting to see if anyone would respond. I was with my daughter……

“The room was clean and we got a clean towel. There was no ice, no plastic cups, glasses of any kind. No shower curtain by design but you walk in the shower at the front so the water goes all over the floor which I cleaned. I could go on. They should at least have some basic things before opening for business and the room was not a bargain! It was expensive. ”

“This is a motel set up, so all doors are exterior doors. Watch out for bugs flying in at night. The location is very convenient to the McDonald observatory. After we were exhausted from the Star Party, it was nice to have the closest motel. Breakfast we the standard continent hotel breakfast. Bedroom seemed updated, but the carpet needs to be replaced. Bathroom needs an upgrade but the manager said they are planning to do that soon. Air conditioner needs to be cleaned and updated too.”
