“A very clean, comfortable, peaceful and pretty quiet (except for a little 101noise, which didn’t bother me, I’m from L A) also thoughtful and useful extras everywhere. There was a trail two doors down that was great that took you on a loop with a fairly good incline to a beautiful meadow with wild flowers and gorgeous views I’d say the loop was just over a mile, perfect for me and my dog, we hiked it 4 times and never saw a soul, we loved it. “Was a cute stay. Apartment is small but was plenty of room for us. There is a nice outdoor seating are and ping pong table. Small coffee shop across the street as well. There is currently construction during the day out front which would have been helpful to know. The area will be beautiful once the construction is done. Would also be helpful to have a curtain over the open window in the bathroom since it looks out into an area people pass by. We would stay here again if in the area.”

“My friends and I just loved the town of Carpenteria and the Tropic Shores condo was the best place to enjoy all the town had to offer. We walked 3 blocks into town and 1 block to the beach. What a treasure. We all plan to return.”

“The place was as described. Unfortunately we got some unusual cold and wet weather and given that this is really a beach stay, we didn't get to take advantage of everything. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to opt for an upstairs unit - floors are very thin and you can hear everything. Super easy check in and check out and really nice and clean.”

“We were very impressed at how well-stocked everything was. We like to cook family meals, the kitchen had absolutely everything we could need. The bathroom was well-stocked with lots of towels. We all thought both beds were very comfortable and there was a lot of closet space. As an artist I really appreciated the art books and classy art decorating the walls. New washers and dryers were very nice too. The best part was walking across the street to the marsh trail and just blocks away from the……

“Almost everything about this condo was fantastic. The location is prime, and the condo was spotless. Vrbo didn’t send us our checkin instructions, but the property manager was really responsive to all of the concerns we had. They got us our checkin info within 15 min of us letting them know we couldn’t get in, they had a solution when we were locked out of the beach gear locker, and when we discovered that there were only two bowls in a condo that accommodates five guests. Five stars for the……

“Unit is is a great location about 2 blocks from the beach and close to restaurants/shops. Check in and communication with property manager was excellent. Would definitely stay here again. We would definitely recommend adding some utensils and cookware to the kitchen inventory for those who wish to cook in and not eat out. Otherwise everything was wonderful!”
