"Annie was so every brilliant, very helpful and friendly. The place really needs a makeover as it is very tired looking. Very nice staffs be warned the water will be on and off on various days but it's the whole area seem to have some kinda water shortages but apart from it, it's a very good location easy access to everything, bakery, supermarket, cafe and all the bars and restaurants and right by the hotel is a beautiful park."

"A fun and unique experience in Guadeloupe. We enjoyed the Creole style house with a view of the ocean and pool. We generally enjoyed the openness but, as others have said, you should bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper due to the evening noises from bugs, roosters, etc. Bug spray is helpful but the mosquito nets do a great job of keeping bugs away at night. I don’t know French so I use the translation option to communicate and get response quicker. I booked through Expedia. It is better to contact the owner via phone for response. Close to beach. Be sure to get a car though, as even though my wife and I did walk to and from the villa into town a couple of times, it is a steep trek! There are no taxis in Drshaies"
