“We had an initial problem of the reception desk being closed and no answer on the phone number provided. We eventually got through to someone by email but we were worried that we would have to find somewhere else to stay! Once we finally got our key our room was absolutely wonderful. Big doors opening onto the beach and sea and what a view! The room was super clean, well stocked with toiletries and we adored the record player and records left for us. We had a brilliant few days here and would……

“Great location on water by ferry and bus. Useful small kitchens. Shared deck. Walls thin. Could use blackout curtains. Helpful staff. Rocco’s pizza and Black Dog Tavern close and good! Be aware VH does not sell booze in town except in bars and restaurant. Must go to other towns to purchase. Great trip!”

“Easy to find. Quick check in. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was all new with plenty of hot water. The downfall was No ice machine. The owner brought us some when we checked in, but we stayed 2 nights and had no ice. Also, as nice as the room was, there was no microwave. I was able to run water through the small coffee machine. ”

Very, very clean, great service, were able to get everything we needed easily, refigerator and microwave in good working order, bright lighting, bathroom VERY clean, and all room/bathroom accessories functioned well. Nice hot water shower. No frills but great place to sleep/rest comfortably in very clean room environment. Close access to many places with life necessities you might need.
