「From even before our arrival Nicolas messaged me to give information. At the suites he welcomed us and showed the suite with explanation of every amenities and also described the building history. Just amazing to live in a building from the 14th century, but with all the modern appliances you have in your own home. The Grote Markt in Antwerp is a beautiful square. This is the side view of the City Hall (Stadhuis) with the Cathedral Spire behind the buildings. I didn't go in on this visit, but I believe tours are available. The Stadhuis also controls visits to the Cathedral Spire, so book here is you want to go up. This only happen on Wedesdays and I was there on a weekend, so missed out on that too! But perfect weather made for a lovely opportunity to sit in teh square at one of the many restaurants!
