The April Maisonette

This is a Semi elevated maisonette having only 11 steps to come in the private entrance door. When you are inside, there is a living area including a 32 "flat screen TV with cable channels and a big leather comfortable sofa, full size kitchen having all the amenities in order to make a good dish and air condition, one bathroom with a bath and a shower , main bedroom with air condition and leading to a small internal yard that includes a washing machine in it, a spare bedroom with 2 beds wardrobe and a desk, and a storage room leading to the terrace.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, sauber und gepflegt

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Stephen ist sehr freundlich, wir haben den Schlüssel sofort gefunden, bei einem Problem (mit der Rückgabe des Leerguts im Supermarkt) hat er uns geholfen. Das einzige Problem, das wir hatten, ist der Berg, den man hinauslaufen muß von der Bus Station. Aber dies dürfte für etwas jüngere Gäste kein Problem darstellen. Wir sind 65 Jahre alt und ich bin leicht gehbehindert. Wir können die Wohnung nur empfehlen.

Le logement correspond très bien à la description, grand et fonctionnel. Il est idéalement situé pour visiter l'île, un service de bus à proximité. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et disponibles.

Pas de chauffage et pas de pression aux robinets

Appartement grand et conforme aux photos. Le propriétaire était agréable mais il faisait très froid et seulement chauffage dans les chambres. Le logement est certainement idéal en été mais en hiver ce n’est pas possible! D’autant qu’il n’y avait aucune pression pour prendre la douche (et par conséquent encore moins pour la grande baignoire). Nous ne sommes donc restés qu’une nuit sur les 4 payées.

Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine à la maisonnette April (2 adultes et 2 enfants), on a adoré l'endroit. Stephen est vraiment très sympathique, disponible et discret. Je recommande vivement cette location au top!

Spacious apartment

Stephen met us upon arrival and showed us around his spacious apartment. It really was a lovely property, with everything we needed to enable us to enjoy our stay. This was our first time in Malta, so the apartment provided an ideal base from which to explore the island. It is also very convenient to the centre of Marsaskala, just five minutes walk to the harbour area. The apartment has a well proportioned lounge area with a great sofa and large flat screen television. The kitchen was well equipped with a large fridge and freezer, as well as plenty of cutlery, etc. Lovely bathroom and two spacious bedrooms, and even a small utility space with a washing machine. We’d have no hesitation in recommending the apartment. We hired a car for the week we were there, and finding a parking space near to the apartment could be a bit tricky, especially in the evening. It is also near the top of quite a steep hill up from the harbour, so maybe not the apartment for anyone with mobility problems. Nevertheless, it was a great apartment and one which we looked forward to coming home to each evening.

Maison tout confort ou l'on s'y sent bien. Accueil chaleureux.

Nous avons été ravis de passer un séjour de 3 jours dans la "Maisonnette April" L'accueil a été chaleureux. Stefen et sa femme nous ont pris le temps de nous accueillir et nous expliquer dans le détails le contenu de l'appartement; Nous avons été agréablement surpris par toutes les petites attentions qu'ils avaient laissés dans la cuisine. Le necessaire pour boire et manger pour une premiere soirée et un premier petit déjeuner. Nous avons eu l'impression d'etre accueillis par des amis dans leur maison. La maison est superbe, tout confort, trés bien équipée avec de trés beaux volumes au point que le matin on tarde a quitter les lieux pour aller visiter malte. La propreté est elle aussi irréprochable. C'est propre et net même dans les petits coins meme les maniaques du ménage n'y trouveront rien à redire. On s'y sent vraiement bien. Un seul bémol, le seul point négatif que l'on est trouvé à dire ; il manque un petit sèche cheveux dans la salle de bain. Merci pour cette belle expérience.. Famille BERNARD.

Spacious Modern Apartment

A large modern apartment, well equipped with large Fridge / Freezer, aircon, washing machine, etc. Good sized bedrooms with lots of storage. Large bathroom with separate bath and shower. Short walk down the hill to the centre of Marsaskala and easy access to the south of the island and airport. Parking nearby no problem during the day, but can be a challenge coming back late at night. Owners made themselves available to address any issues and provided water, bread, cheese, which was very welcome on arrival. Price includes deposit which was swiftly returned after departure. Very happy with my stay and can recommend this apartment to others.

Very quiet and clean flat!

The location is great, same at the pictures we have seen , very spacious with all we need .it's closed from restaurants,bus station... The owners Stephen And Purity are really nices persons... Stephen came to the airport for our arrival and departure wich was very helpfull . We can also join him for any problem. We definitively recommand this location...

Exactly as in the pics

The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, clean and provided with all one may need for a comfy stay. Located in a residential area where finding parking space along the street is relatively easy, even during high season, so I highly recommend it for guests renting a car. Within a walking distance to the city centre, restaurants, perfect for two couples or up to four close friends. The owners are very helpful. I highly recommend it.
