“This was our first time in the area, and we had a wonderful stay. The house was cozy and comfortable, and the hot tub was a wonderful bonus especially after a long day driving. We also enjoyed spending time on the deck, and playing with the lawn games provided. Harper’s Ferry National park was easy to get to and we really enjoyed exploring it. If we are ever in this area again, we would definitely stay here!”

“Words cannot express the experience we had at this beautiful cabin. They just would not do it justice, but I am going to try. Driving to the cabin, in the neighborhood, you feel a sense of serenity and peace. The neighborhood seems like a family place. Full of love and joy. Ample parking is provided at the cabin. “This is a very charming and cozy house on private property. Very clean and comfortable. Close to lower town and restaurants. Also, conveniently located to the hiking trails. We really enjoyed hot tub after long day of activities. One of the highlights was bird watching in the morning while drinking coffee on the patio. Tony was a great host. “We stayed in this delightful cabin for a girls trip & absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was extremely clean & matched all photos & descriptions. The space was even bigger than expected & worked perfectly for our group. We loved cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, watching movies on the big comfy couch, & using the outdoor hot tub! We would definitely book again & 100% recommend if you’re looking for a cozy cabin getaway!”

“We enjoyed our stay at this cosy cabin. There is a lovely view from the deck and the cabin was clean and comfortable. There is a big yard which our dogs loved! Cacapon State park is about 20 min away and has a lot of amenities including some great hikes. It is worth exploring. We liked Berkeley Springs Brewery, good beer and food about 25 min away. The road to the cabin is steep in places and in winter weather I would want AWD/4WD. We had a nice getaway and would stay here again.”

“Mostly satisfying stay. Cabin was a little dirty and older than in pictures. Made sure day before hot tub was in working order but at arrival was not working. The hot tub was finally fixed and hot at midnight on our last night. Was able to use it for an hour. The owner apologised but offered no compensation. Plus the front door knob fell off when we arrived. Had to fix myself. Other than that was a very private property and very nice fire pit. Wood not included.”

“My friend and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Chalet in the Woods. It was a perfect spot to escape to and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of nature. The chalet had everything we needed and Brianna the host was very helpful and accommodating. We would love to come back!”

“Location was good. But the house needs some updates and a good cleaning. The tub is clogged. The sofa had odor. Too much clutter for dog friendly house. However, we did appreciate our stay.”

“My stay was supposed to be with a small group of friends for my birthday. Unfortunately Mother Nature had other ideas. So it turned into a solo get away. I couldn’t image a better retreat. The owner was very responsive and clear. The house exceptionally clean and equipped. Property was ready when I arrived, and check in was simple and easy. Lots of wildlife watching. The hot tub was fantastic. I can’t wait to visit in the warmer months to take advantage of all the outside amenities. But if……
