“hotel very handy for shops etc. very good room (3) surprised really. all the usual bed bath shower etc but this room included a lounge area and a bit of a kitchen area. sink fridge and for some reason a dish washer . in the cupboards was one plate . no glasses so we was baffled. the room was a bit warm but wasnt a problem . The bar is ok but could do with more choice of real beers breakfast we had Washington grill which was very tasty. for those visiting Cumbria this hotel is 30 min drive from……

“Very quiet, cozy & comfortable Inn. Although located in a remote area of Lake District, easy to find & can reach other spots easily. Must try the dinner at the restaurant which is very good with reasonable price. Only the towel rack in my room is not working which is a minor stuff. Furthermore everything in the breakfast seems overcooked.”

The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update……
