"Ocean views were really good, the unit inside is modern, comfortable and very clean. Beach access is decent with a path nearby, but an area resident has no trespassing signs posted so it’s unclear if the path is on private property or not. The car beach access isn’t far. The pool is great and the fishing in the local pond is also very nice. The check-in and check out times are firm with notices of fines if not followed. The drawback to this community is the exterior is dated and worn and in need of minor repairs which looks more like an HOA issue than an issue with the unit itself. Compared to other Matagorda locations would still recommend with the amenities and the interior condition. If they update the exteriors this place would be 5 star. "

"This was one of the best vacation rentals we have rented in a long time. Very modern, smart home, spotlessly clean, easy check in and out. Kitchen had everything including plenty of coffee, spices, etc. Beds were very comfortable. Wonderful showers. We highly recommend it for anywhere from two to six people."
