“Originalité et lieu très pittoresque : l’hôtel est aménagé dans une grotte en plein cœur de la ville ancienne de Matera. Il est joliment décoré et d’une propreté exemplaire. “Vertskapet var de nydligste menneskene vi har møtt. De hentet min sønn og meg på flyplassen(€50). De snakket ikke engelsk men vi brukte en app som oversatte det fungerte perfekt. De hjalp oss å booke bor på restauranter, og tok oss til og med rundt på en kveldstur hvor Angelo fortalte min sønn om byens historie samtidig som de viste oss hvordan vi kom oss til togstasjon, hvor den beste gelato var osv. De gjorde oppholdet vårt magisk. Vi kommer tilbake til både La Maison og denne nydelige byen.……

“Incredible room, incredible hosts, and incredible location. Right in the middle of the old town it was easy to walk to any shop or restaurant. Staying in a cave hotel was a once in a life time experience. Matera is a beautiful town rich in history. Absolutely recommend! ”

“This place was absolutely perfect. The views from the terrace were beautiful and scenic...picture perfect. The room was AWESOME. It looked like a cave and did not have any weird smells. “I really liked that there was everything you could need to be comfortable. You can tell there is someone considerate behind the administration. There was abundant drinking water, teas and coffee, water boiler, cups, etc in the common area. In the bathroom, shower cap, soap, and other amenities, enough towels for all the guests (this is not always the case). The family room was great with two rooms and ac in each one.
