"The club 47 was definitely where it was at! We enjoyed our honeymoon stay. Also definitely need to do the night manta Ray tour that originated right there from the outrigger. We had the time of our lives!"
"We stayed at 3 different resorts/bnb's and this was our favorite! The location is great for exploring volcano NP and South Point. The one bedroom suite was so spacious with a large kitchen/living room, and comfortable beds. Just make sure to do your grocery shopping ahead of time as there are not many options nearby!"
"We had a very pleasant stay and would choose this accommodation again. It’s not high end but felt clean, welcoming and fit our needs perfectly as a home base as we waited for the volcano. It was very close to the volcano park and conveniently near to local restaurants etc. We felt like we had our own space and felt like the shared bathrooms were not a problem at all. "
"This is the perfect place for anyone who wants to stay in a jungle away from it all. The windows are screens and in the Hawaiian heat it feels like glamping.
And the breakfasts and staff are wonderful too.
The National park is very close and we visited multiple times to enjoy hiking, beaches, and the historical elements. The snorkelling/swimming area was also very busy.
And the ranch offered snorkel gear and other things to make sure you could make the most of your time there! "
"Keep your expectations realistic and you will love this place. This is not the Four Seasons, it's a quaint, self-check in style lodge that is clean and spacious. You will be sharing the common areas (kitchen and living room) of the Inn with other travelers. The room and closet are huge. It is a 5 minute drive to Volcanoes National Park and I would absolutely stay here again. The innkeeper is easy to reach if needed but if you follow the instructions you probably wont need any help. There is a small brewery nearby as well as a general store and a Thai restaurant for food and beverages."
