「Darien is a great stop while traveling up or down the coast right off of 95 with a safe little town and nice restaurants that are pup friendly. The host is so nice. She even picked us up from a local restaurant when it poured rain! There were dog bowls with fresh water waiting for our pup. She has thought of what you need when traveling. A great stay (twice!)」

「Perfect little spot for a stopover for a night or two if you have a long drive up or down 95. My wife and I stayed there with our puppy. 2 miles to 95 and everything was walkable. Friendly neighborhood and very close to the water. Bungalow was very clean and had what you needed for a short stay. A great alternative to getting a hotel.」

「This is our second time staying at Oaks of Eden. It is well-named - the live oaks at the property and forest nearby are spectacular and full of birds. The cottage is very comfortable, laid out well, everything one would need is there, and the back porch is screened. The only poorly functioning item was the coffee maker, which took more than an hour to brew a pot of coffee. 」
