"We stayed at this property while our son was attending his first Boy Scout camp and Camp Olmsted which was about 25 min away. We had a relaxing weekend away and did some hiking on Rimrock Overlook trail in the Allegheny National forest and went to see Kinzua Dam. Both were only a short distance from the property. Much enjoyed! "

"Emporium is an old town so we knew ahead of time the home was going to be older. I think they did a nice job bringing it up to date considering its age. Beds were fairly comfortable. The detergent used for the comforter was a bit strong. Fridge's water/ice machine didn't seem to work but there was fresh water in the fridge for us guests. The barn door for the bathroom was a nice touch. I'd recommend a latch or small hook as it did tend to open. Otherwise, it was clean and we loved that it was...

"The property is a treasure. It was a challenge to find in the dark; Google Maps located the cabin well, but the directions were misleading for finding the driveway. A call to the cabin owner's phone helped us with the directions. We had a couple of ambulatory-challenged individuals in our party who had to use the back entrance, as it had the fewest number of steps to climb. The outside steps did not have railings. Inside was clean and inviting. Accommodations were comfortable as well. "
