The Lakehouse on Upper Silver Lake - 190' Lakefront!

5 bedrooms, 3 baths, 190' of lake frontage, 2 docks, sandy bottom 1.5' deep at shore sloping to 4' at end of 40' docks, large deck, parking for at least 8 vehicles. There is a grill, griddle, fire pit, kayaks (2) for guests to use. Just down the road from Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Something for everyone to enjoy. Come have a great time and make lasting memories at The Lakehouse. Don't forget your fishing pole.

Leave the cottage the way it was when you arrived inside and outside. Windows and doors shut and locked. Dishes clean and put away. Etc.
Beds that were used should be stripped with bedding left on the bed.
All trash should be put in the garbage can outside. Take trash can to road Sunday evening or morning if checking out on Sunday. Leave keys on counter.

The house was very clean; had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we were there for just 1 night. So, we didn't use all the amenities the house has to offer. We hope to be back next year.

Extended Family Vacation

The house accommodated my large group very well! We had everything we needed. Upper Silver Lake was great for young kids and then we had Lake Michigan a short drive away for older swimmers. We did have some warm weather so it was hot at night upstairs, but we would definitely come back! Great location!

Mears Lakehouse

We can a great time at this Lakehouse. The group consisted of 6 siblings and their spouses - a total of 10 people Very roomy and airy inside the house. The deck and view of the lake were amazing. We spent each night at the bonfire and just talked about our families and life in general. We also watched the International Space Station pass over each night. Brian and his wife Amy made out stay very memorable and I would definitely recommend this Lakehouse.

Spring break

The house and area are beautiful! The house was representative of the beautiful pictures display. During this time a year was a nice quiet family getaway. Even though a lot of businesses were closed nearby as they are seasonal we still enjoyed the hike at the sand dunes, the lighthouse, going to Hart Brewery, Shopping at Hansens and the Ivy Cottage. Also equally amazing is Hart Pizza; totally recommend!!! Brian, the host, is equally amazing at responding when asking questions; thank you all for sharing your beautiful home!

Perfect location!

I recently stayed here with my husband and 5 children ranging in age from 12-22. We all loved our time! The property has beautiful views of the lake, lots of places to sit inside and out, kayaks, a swimmable shore, and multiple docks. We fished, swam, enjoyed a fire and had everything we needed to spend time together. Great spaces to hang out in and plenty of sleeping space. The house is also located 5 minutes from the Dunes, and lots of other shops and ice cream places. All in all, a great place for a MI family vacation. Brian was also very responsive when we reached out, so any questions were answered quickly.
