I was in room 807. Loved it! The room was wonderful, the views were fantastic (but the windows could do with a clean. A bit dirty). Loved the balcony, the amenities, the bed was soooo comfortable and the staff were fabulous! So friendly and helpful: Will definitely stay again! ❤️

Fantastic room size and a very clean and well equipped apartment. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Parking was easy and once we checked in there was no need to use our car for the duration of our stay due to the multiple dining options close by, and easy access to public transport when heading further away. Bed and pillows were really comfy and our room was near silent through the night with a pleasant view / small balcony. Usually I would stay in the city when travelling to Melbourne but this property ticks all the boxes and we will stay here again, especially if travelling with the kids.

Had to pay for parking. Was cheap, but wasn't included with room booking. Some unusual characters lurked around reception and outside the hotel which, as a single female traveller, did not make me feel safe as often reception wasn't manned and street light outside wasn't the best.

The hotel is in a very convenient location and many of the rooms have great views of the bay, even more of the rooms have balconies. Unless there is an event happening it is very reasonably priced. But the rooms are starting to get tired and a revamp is needed. It is in the process of changing its name to The Minton, so this may herald a facelift.

Wanted to charge be 100 to access the room an hour earlier. So left to sit in lobby and watch a yelling fight between the front desk team and someone that walked off the street that was intoxicated (who also kept asking me to let them in the elevator). Probably would have just been better to let me in the room, felt very unsafe. Rooms are average, toilet had lots of old yellow stains and did the bath.
