The location of the hotel is very good, also parking in front of the hotel. Unfortunately there have been spiders and other insects in the room (maybe because of the garden?) and one towel was dirty. Breakfast was ok.

Room was clean. Breakfast okay. No washer like Hotels.com said. Check-In very difficult. Not english friendly. Help desk number didn’t answer.

Some issues

Despite having given an expected time of arrival there was no one at the premises. We phoned and text the number given and it took a good 20 minutes for someone to respond so we could check in. We had asked for an air conditioned room and this was not given, from other friends staying it, appears none of the rooms have this facility. The bed creaked so badly it woke us up any time someone moved. The room wasn’t cleaned the whole week we were there, no fresh towels or bins emptied. No staff present on site most of the time so difficult to get things dealt with. Not the best stay unfortunately. The positives are the balcony was a bonus and the room a good size. A good example of you get what you pay for I think.

A clean old hotel, no elevator, terrible breakfast

The hotel and room was ok, clean, nice. The terrible eperience was the breakfast. Smelling ham, old bread, incredibly dirty coffee machine.

Position excellent walking to the centre of Melnik.car park in front of the hotel.The bedroom with the windows on the ceiling are nice and specious but the maintenance is not that good.

More bed and breakfast style rather than hotel. Room was quite large and clean. Extra bed was really poor for adult. No actual reception and staff couldn't speak english at all. Location was nice and WiFi worked.

Worst Hotel to stay with family

Worst hotel room ever.. spiders and web all over the room.. room was never cleaned.. no front desk for assistance..very poor service for breakfast.. took video and pictures of spiders and sent to hotel incharge .. no apologies just said do u want another room which was very rude. never changed towels or cleaned the room again after mentioning it..

Ok but no frills

Hotel and breakfast was ok. On our last morning breakfast was noticeably better, with a different member of staff. One morning there was no juice at all. However there didn't seem to be any hot water for a shower late afternoon. There was no hot drink facilities. Although we put towels on the floor as per the sign but none were changed.

Appartement wasnt as advertised with a balcony. Balcony was missing completely. The reception is "open" 24/7 but there was rarely someone available. The rooms are extremely dirty eapecially the toilets and shower. The persons working there arent friendly and mostly dont care. Warm water was missing and we had to wait an hour to get it fixxed every time (happened 3 times in 2 days). All in all not a nice experience and wont recommend.

It was a disaster. In my first message I asked the hotel to reserve a room with 2 separate beds on the ground floor or 1st floor (because of my walking disability). When we arrived at the hotel, the key to room number 10 was waiting in the box. We found the room on the 2nd floor, which was also the attic. Wednesday was a very hot day and we found a fan in the room, but no air conditioning. It felt like 35 degrees Celsius. The skylights were closed because the sun was shining so strongly. I called the manager to ask him to assign us another room. He said that the hotel was fully booked, but that there was a romantic room in the basement. Not knowing anything, we accepted the offer. Although the manager warned us that there was no window in the room, we checked in and went into town for a walk and lunch. When we returned in the evening, we realized the extent of the room drama. We discovered that the room was nothing more than a slightly converted laundry room where the house's drains met. The room was cool, but quite musty. The room had neither a table nor chairs, but there was a large wooden bathtub. It was wet inside and not pleasant to be raw. There was also a drain right next to the bed. There was no door to the toilet, just a jute curtain. The water in the sink drained very slowly. The air conditioning was very loud and we only got "fresh air" when we opened the door to the hallway. Achtung: besser nicht buchen !

Wir standen leider vor verschlossenen Türen. Keine der beiden angeschlagenen Nummern waren erreichbar. Auch die Klingel wurde nicht beantwortet. Wir haben es mehrfach und auch mit einiger Wartezeit versucht. Leider hat uns niemand geöffnet und wir haben uns ein anderes Hotel suchen müssen. Der Betrag wurde allerdings abgebucht, bei Hotels.com erreicht man aber niemanden. Am Morgen danach waren wir noch einmal dort und hatten gehofft, jemanden zu treffen, kamen aber auch nicht weiter. Es sah nicht danach aus, dass überhaupt Gäste dort waren. Den Vermieter habe ich angeschrieben, ebenso Hotels.com und nun heißt es abwarten. Zahlt lieber ein paar Euros mehr und geht in eine andere Unterkunft.

Das war leider gar nichts!

Die guten Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Die Zimmer waren in einem schlechten Zustand. An einer Steckdose fehlte die Plastikverkleidung, der Badvorleger sah aus als wäre eine Fußballmannschaft darüber gelaufen und die Wand an der Kopfkissenseite war einfach nur ekelig. Aber richtig schlimm wurde es dann beim Früßstück (wenn man das so nennen will). Ich hatte noch nie ein so schlechtes Frühstück. Der Kaffee war eine nicht zu identifizierende braune Brühe. Die Cerealien sahen aus als wären sie schon 5 Jahre in den Glasbehältern. Sorry, so was habe ich auf meinen vielen Reisen noch nicht erlebt.

Freundlich und herzlich geführtes Gasthaus. Habe mich dort auf einer Radtour für eine Nacht einquartiert. Ich bekam sogar die kleine Wäsche gemacht gegen einen kleinen Ovulus. Ein schöner Biergarten mit Blick auf das Schloss ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Komme gerne einmal wieder.

Es gibt keine Rezeption, check-in nur telefonisch, wenn man Glück hat, geht Jemand ans Telefon. Das Zimmer war schmutzig und verwohnt, die Fotos entsprechen nicht der Wahrheit. Der Frühstücksraum war abgeschlossen, nach 20 Minuten Wartezeit wurde aufgeschlossen, das Frühstück ist billig, es gibt Reste von den Vorgängern. Die Lage ist gut, das ist das einzig Positive
