「I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, but this was the first time I’ve ever paid for a room without a window. It was honestly pretty odd and not at all what I expected. The room felt closed‑in and disconnected from the outside, and it definitely changed the overall experience. For the price, I assumed every room would have at least some natural light, so it was surprising to end up in a space that felt more like an interior storage room than a guest room.
