Peaceful and safe

I needed somewhere safe to stay and also be able to work from home. It was quiet and peaceful the entire time I stayed (6 nights). It was a secure area so I felt like my car was safe. The apartment was so clean and they provided coffee, which was DELICIOUS! Perfect for a nice and easy stay. I will be reserving again.

This property is in a location very close to Overton Square and not far from downtown, which were both pluses. And I appreciated the gated parking. However, the property itself is very old, and has an odd mildewy smell. The property is decorated well, but the cottage is in no way modernized (old peeling paint on the woodwork, flooring not in good shape, bathroom seals dirty..). And although gated, the neighbors are questionable. (Very transitional area.) We walked to dinner, but did not walk home as we were not sure how safe it would be (and we are urbanites ourselves). The price was "right".

I had no problems during my stay. The property is older so it had some cosmetic issues. I appreciated the gate at the entrance and the communication from the host.

Weekend getaway

Rented this apartment for St Jude Marathon Weekend and to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. Perfect place! Walking distance to Overton Square, quite, secure, clean and the host was great. Would definitely book this place again.
