“The place was cozy and spacious. We all had a ton of fun and plan on coming back next year. ”

“This is our second year coming to this location. We really enjoyed these cabins compared to the larger cabins because we all were in one area and was easier to communicate and reconnect. Went when it was extremely hot and had a heat advisory, but the AC worked fine and had the pool pretty much to ourselves. Have no issue ever with these locations.”

“We had the most wonderful time during our stay at Lazy Oaks! The setting is ideal for escaping from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is very remote and surrounded by forrest and wildlife. We have a family member who is profoundly disabled and tends to get very loud at times. No problem in this setting, as one can yell as loud as they can, and it won’t disturb anyone! That alone made this place perfect for us. The view is spectacular. It was wonderful to sit on the porch in the morning……

“Our travel softball team stayed here during a tournament as a get away and culture building activity. It was a wonderful stay and everything we were looking for! The cabin was wonderfully maintained. We are so glad we came!”

“the event center is in the process of development, with construction workers and miscellaneous characters running about. The cabins are almost brand new (business est 2021) and they are continuing to build more cabins. The cabins all sleep 4+ people, but the interiors would be cramped for more than 2 because of the smaller appliances and plumbing installed. They utilize window AC/heater units that are really loud and located right next to the main bed...woke me up every time it kicked in!……

“Cabin was clean and spacious. I had 6 teenage boys with me and we were comfortable. I used the loft and had some privacy. We explored the area by swimming at beaches, fishing, and rented a boat on Lake MacBride. I’d definitely go back. ”
