All of the staff were incredibly nice. Hotel is in a really safe area; not as grand as the exclusive downtown, but you can save money for more dinners out! Would stay there again!

We stayed at Hotel Mirador in Merida for one night during our trip across Mexico. It was one of the best hotels we found at a reasonable price. The hotel was clean and welcoming. At first, the reception staff seemed a bit unfriendly, but this was likely due to the language barrier. One downside is that the staff does not speak English, which made communication more difficult. In smaller and cheaper hotels we visited, communicating was much easier. Nevertheless, highly recommend this hotel. Very close to the ADO station and not that far from the city centre.

Good hotel, but could be outstanding with 2 change

Hotel Plaza Mirador is my go-to hotel for my frequent travel to Mérida. The staff is wonderful and very accomodating. I have only 2 complaints: the mattresses are VERY hard and uncomfortable, the shower heads are very clogged with mineral deposits. If hotel management is reading this review, PLEASE upgrade the mattresses to memory foam and PLEASE make part it of the regular maintenance to remove the shower heads and soak them in vinegar overnight to remove the hard water deposits.

Good value budget hotel

We frequently stay at Hotel Plaza Mirador because it is close to the ADO bus station and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple. The staff is also friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the pool is clean. The reasons I give 4, instead of 5, stars: 1) the mattresses are too firm; I wake up with a backache every morning. 2) the showerheads are so clogged with mineral deposits the water comes out as a fine, uneven spray, making it difficult to get a thorough shower. I can live with these two complaints because of this budget hotel's other fine amenities and service.

Our room was rather dated and while it was somewhat clean, it really needs a deep cleaning as well as updating. There were not enough outlets - just one in a convenient location by the bed. The pool area was nice and the staff were polite but spoke limited English. The location is fairly central to various spots. I booked my room with breakfast but Expedia did not include this on any of my receipts so we missed out.

This hotel was a last minute life saver, from an BnB gone wrong scenario! We chose the “King Suite”. It was just what we needed! It has its own kitchen set up, utensils, cookware, etc. It has a comfy, couch in living room area. A/C is powerful for hot days, yet plenty of hot water, for a relaxed shower! Decent breakfast for a very affordable rate! Parking included upon request, and nice pool! Cleaned daily by staff. Front desk staff will provide you with whatever you need. Taxi service, tour planning, maps, and local recommendations. Would book again!

This is more like a 2 star hotel, not a 4 star hotel. We had a basic room which was really basic. It even smells at first night. The hotel does not have coffee or hot water available in the common area. The check-in staffs were not friendly. However, the price does match the room condition, so I do not complain. The good point is that the breakfast is of good value. The hotel is a few minutes of walking from ADO centro bus terminal, but is more than10 walking from the real center. They have a swimming pool and some chairs around which may make their rating a little higher. Next time, I would book a better room if I would return to Marida and choose this hotel.

The hotel is really nice and good value for money, really close to the ADO bus station in the center of Mérida. But I was there one Saturday night and there were so much noise from people having "a party" at the pool/ lobby area that it was impossible to sleep. Nice and spacious rooms though and everything look clean. Perfect for a one night stay if you have an early bus to catch.
