Patong Merlin Beach Hotels

"We had a beautiful pool view room which was faultless. The three pools were wonderful, particularly the quiet pool with floating bean bags. The staff were so friendly and a great choice of superb food. The hotel is on a small private beach which was great for snorkelling. We had the all inclusive package which was great value for money. The hotel also operates a complimentary shuttle to Patong which is well worth a look. We couldn’t fault the hotel at all and can thoroughly recommend it."

"Great gym. I did a yoga class and a fitness class and they were both excellent. The Italian restaurant was excellent for a change from Thai food. I had the veal mayonnaise with pasta, which was top notch. "

"Hotel is the original Holiday inn in Phuket, rooms at a little tired but otherwise functional, however the bathroom had a funny smell the entire time, however the many issue is that all of the pictures etc., show a pool you do not have access to unless you purchase a premium room. This is not clearly specified! Within the small print it states that certain rooms have a number of pools but there is one poorly taken shot of the main pool with the remainder of the shots being of the pools available only to premium rooms. Also the in hotel shop sold us a faulty bag and then refused to refund. All in all, there are nicer hotels in Phuket for the money, I feel. "

"Outstanding hotel for the area. Clean and well-kept as a whole. Very friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Food was just ok but there's plenty of really good food in walking distance. Pools are really nice with service and beach is right across the street. Walking distance to all the downtown shops, bars, and festivities. "

"Staff was very helpful and nice. Most spoke English and could translate what was asked. The property is very clean and the views are amazing. It’s located close to most activities that I booked and free shuttle to Patong beach, shopping, and restaurants. The staff made my stay amazing. I enjoyed 5days and 4 magnificent nights here!"
