“On arrival, we checked in and started to unpack. We noticed that parts of the room were dusty. As we looked closer we noticed that our room was layered in dust that had obviously been there longer than a week nevermind a day. The headboards were covered and you could visibly see the colour difference on the carpet where the duty was lying. I checked my mum and dad's room aswell and there's was the same but not as heavily dusted. Me and my dad both suffer with asthma which set us off sneezing and……

“Honestly the worst, most run-down place I've ever stayed. The smell hen entering my room was stale. The mattress on my bed was so lumpy, with springs poking that I had to roll myself in the duvet for protection. If it hadn't been extremely late by the time I arrived I would have left and found somewhere else, glad I was only there for one night. Just writing this review makes my skin itch thinking about the place. Also, I paid extra for breakfast when booking but they don't even serve……

“Missold hotel, more like a hostel. Old building no staff available with main door left open when we arrived leaving people very vulnerable. Lex the member of staff at this place lied to Expedia team, telling them that we checked in but hadn't checked out knowing that we had refused to stay there and had asked for a refund which they are refusing! We ended up staying at Gatwick all night until our flight. Not a great start to our holiday. Reviews are questionable. DO NOT STAY THERE!!”

“I stayed here a few months ago and I had hoped it had improved, however if anything it was worse. The bathrooms are something out the 1970s, the bath was marked with limescale and in the first room I was given the bath plug was almost impossible to get out and the bath was chipped. In that room the window was stuck open about 20cm and despite the efforts of a maintenance man it would not close. I asked for another room and despite being told that the hotel was full one was magically found. The……
