「Thin walls. Tiny room. Have to pay for coffee. Faint smell of cigarette smoke. Right next to a wonderful Trading Post for grab-and-go breakfast. Walking distance from airport which has a terrific restaurant. I will not stay here again because the walls were so thin and the location felt far away from everything else — and it feels extremely overpriced.」

We stayed in the main part of the inn (we booked late so not many room choices). Room was small but well done. Turndown service with cookies every evening. Gorgeous porch, lawn and dock area. Loved every minute.」

「The staff was very kind and helpful, our room was right on the street so people walking by could definitely look into the room and see us but it felt safe and the noise on the street travels into the room so on the weekend people stay up pretty late and you can hear them walking by. The room was clean but could use some baseboard cleaning/maybe some deeper cleaning. Also the fridge did not work which was unfortunate. Staff was super kind and helpful, overall a great stay and very close to town!」
「We had a wonderful stay at Periwinkle Inn. Gail, the innkeeper, was very helpful and communicative. She upgraded us before our arrival from a queen to a king due to availability. Our room was spacious, had an updated en suite bathroom, and was very comfortable. The location in town is unbeatable. If you are expecting a small inn in a historic part of town (e.g., road noise is common in these types of buildings and they have character), then you'll have a 5/5 stay!」
「A no frills bed & breakfast experience. The rooms were nice, but bathrooms had broken tiles by the shower. Breakfast was convenient to have for early mornings, but otherwise would skip. Overall a comfortable stay and a short 8-10 min walk to town, but felt a bit lacking.」

The view of the harbor, proximity to shopping and dining, and ease of check-in/out made for the perfect vacation. The bed was super comfy and the kitchen was outfitted with everything you could need.
