If any window is open, you must turn OFF the air conditioning. Running the air conditioning with windows open causes condensation and can damage the ceiling. A US$500 penalty applies if ceiling damage caused by this is found. Close all windows before turning the air conditioning back on.

PORTUGUÊS — JANELAS E AR-CONDICIONADO
Se alguma janela estiver aberta, DESLIGUE o ar-condicionado. Usá-lo com as janelas abertas provoca condensação e pode danificar o teto. Caso sejam constatados danos ao teto causados dessa forma, será cobrada uma penalidade de US$500. Feche todas as janelas antes de ligar o ar-condicionado novamente.
