Good Beach Crash Pad / Great Building

First, this building is fantastic! It has amazing amenities and fantastic views of the beach and ocean. Additionally, everyone who works at the building is friendly and helpful. The unit is a one bed / one bath with an amazing balcony that looks directly over the beach and ocean and the roof of the restaurant in front of the building. The unit is spacious but older. I was disappointed because it was not cleaned very well upon my arrival. For example, I could tell the floors had not been washed and were barely swept. But, if you are looking for a beach condo to sleep in, in a great building, this is an option.

Perfect Location

We have been vacationing in this area for years and this year decided to stay at The Hyde. Our unit was located on the 6th floor which was great because we were still able to use the stairs (only for going down, it was a vacation after all, LOL) to burn those extra calories. The unit was well appointed with a king size bed, top of the line appliances and great rain fall shower head. Communication with the owner was top-notch. Looking forward to staying here again. Highly recommend! *****

Beautiful Ocean View

Beautiful ocean views from the spacious balcony. The bathroom did have a fishy odor to it. There was an air freshener plugged in which helped, but you could still smell it. With only one elevator, the wait times were sometimes long. Eating at the restaurant on property/poolside was very expensive. Definitely recommend using the kitchen and preparing your own meals. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Oven well used; washer made loud noises during spin cycle; parking all valet, very inconvenient; single elevator; cookware unusable; limited towels (one hand towel); Owner was very responsive in regard to air conditioner, made suggestions helped to get it to cool properly.
