Distracting level of discomfort

Regarding our stay, we were not comfortable. There was black hair on the bathroom floor at check-in, and almost no water pressure at the sink and shower. I had to turn on the toilet water and the hot water myself. There is a hole in the wall where the AC unit is housed. The elevator didn't work on Sunday. This is all not to mention the reception and hallways were dark, dingy and dirty. Finally, at the corner market at 8th and Washington, my partner was propostioned by someone in the middle of the day. We are both seasoned travelers and have appropriate and reasonable expectations for cleanliness and safety, particularly during Spring Break. The unit did not meet either of these. The property did not reflect appropriate value for money.
