“Amazing peaceful rural location. We had a lovely two bedroom room, beautifully equipped with lots of lovely finishing touches, like actual milk in a fridge for tea and coffee. Not something I am very used to staying in lots of hotels for work. The farmhouse is as picturesque as it looks in the photos. Local recommendations for activities and food. “We had a brilliant stay here just after Christmas for 6 nights. The cottage was spotless, really comfortable, and had everything we needed—it felt like a proper home away from home. The kids absolutely loved feeding the farm animals every morning (so did we!) it was such a fun way to start the day and definitely made the stay extra special. Carolyn and Carl were fantastic hosts—so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a family……

“Had a lovely time at Home House, the location was perfect for exploring local beaches and towns. Home house was a comfortable stay with a swimming pool that was welcomed after a long day out. It was lovely sitting in the garden chatting over a glass or 2 of vino and the local pub Grey Goose served good food and very welcoming. Would wholeheartedly recommend for family or friends gathering.”

“Starting to need a little TLC. The hot tub lid is broken. There are missing dimmer switches and screws out of wardrobe door handles. In the games room the perspex glass on the side of the pool table was smashed and no ends on the queues. The dartboard wasnt fixed on the wall properly and not all the players work properly on the football table. Also had to rewire the karaoke plug. None of this ruined our stay as its a beautiful property with stunning views.”

“We stayed on the Combestone Farm for five days and it was a glorious experience. The location is ideal for exploring Dartmoor’s unique landscape, whether you want to go for long hikes or short strolls with children. We began multiple hikes starting directly from the farm. Annabelle was very helpful to us in planning our hikes and she provided helpful insights and recommendations based on our requirements. She is the most wonderful of hosts. We were immediately made to feel a part of her family……

“Fantastic mix of living spaces, each with character. Wonderful and well-equipped kitchen, leading into a huge dining area, or out into one part of the garden. All the bedrooms have their own touch of style and class, and all are very attractive and very comfortable. Bathrooms galore! Character and cute little cubby holes everywhere. Two lovely hot tubs right next to each other, and an outdoor table and chairs, but right next to the house for ease of coming and going. Fantastic views, and so……
