“Stayed overnight whilst spending a few days fishing on the local river. A warm welcome on arrival and a nice little clean room with everything I needed (comfy bed, warm shower, tv etc). Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good value at £9.85. Beer was also very good and a great selection. Staff were really friendly and happy to have a natter. Look forward to returning next year!”

“The property is great. I was traveling with my wife, daughter (13 yrs old) and nephew (16 yrs old). The unit has 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. It's a large space approximately 600 sqft. There is also parking which is a big plus in England. The unit does not indicate it has a washer and dryer but the picture of the unit clearly shows a washer. Unfortunately there's no dryer and since we were traveling during the winter it took a long time for the clothes to hang dry. We were in outer Birmingham……

“We had been to visit David Austin Roses and White Cottage was in a reasonable distance from there - we did not want to travel back to Nottingham on the same day. We were made most welcome by Rob. The room was well presented and thoughtfully laid out. The bathroom was sparkling! We were provided with tea/coffee facilities, milk and wine. We were also give two pieces of the most delicious cake! Breakfast was wonderful and again, beautifully presented, with lots of choice. Nothing was too much……
