「Everyone was very friendly and helpful at the hotel. Breakfast had lots of choices and space to eat. Laundry is available 24 hours. Room was very clean and roomy. Only complaint was the lukewarm shower. Other than that, it would have been an excellent stay. Hotel was convenient to everything you could need- restaurants (Culver's- excellent), stores, and gas stations. Amish Store around the corner had the best raspberry pie I ever had.」

「Very dirty, peeling paint, large hole in bathroom wall, toilet didn't flush, sheets were stained, I couldn't get into my room due to the door being damaged, the pool was closed, I had to pay $60 up front in cash for a deposit on top of the room rate - had to use their ATM for the cash and was charged $3.75. I did get the $60 back when I checked out but I will never stay here again.」

「Stay here if you want to hear intimate moments of your neighbors waking you through the night. I'm not a prude. The walls and doors are paper thin. Dirty entry to building.Dirty halls, Dirty room. Moldy shower. Yellow gunk, hair and God knows what else thriving behind the bathroom door. The elevator cried with every move, beat up, wallpaper ripped, chunks of paint knocked off the sad walls. The whole place smelled like dog pee. This needs torn down or shut down and sanitized and rebuilt. Gross.」

「Had real bad weather with tornado warnings, and sirens going off and there was no safety plan from staff. Was told we would go to staff laundry room but they did not unlock it and when asked about it we were told not to worry it only gets windy and there’s never a tornado since she lived there. Tv in lobby was on but went off and they never put back on for us to follow weather. Lack of emergency management training. Just so happens tornado hit Merrillville that night, too close for comfort.
