“We appreciated the welcoming staff - often similar sized hotels only have 1 person at check-in but Ayres had 2 and they were efficient. They offered cookies in the evening and a very nice breakfast in the morning. We also took advantage of the weight room and jacuzzi. Finally, despite being close to the freeway, it was very quiet.”

“Room was not serviced until we called housekeeping (no trash pickup or towels renewed until we called). A/C had a vibrating noise everytime it went on. Otherwise everything was great!”

“Absolutely awful. We tried to check in and they claimed our booking was cancelled, even though expedia showed we still had it. They apparently we already full, so they did us a "favor" and showed us their disability accommodation room that they normally save for guests who need it. We walked in and it wreaked of cigarettes, the towels, sink, and tub were dirty, and there were stains on the bed. We walked out and found a new place. Don't waste your money here.”

“Had a pool”

“First the good: it is inexpensive, and the staff are extremely friendly. That's all. We had a reservation for 3 nights amd just left after the first one. The rooms are in terrible condition, and do not at all look like the pictures online. The sheets were covered in someone's hair. The furniture was all broken or missing parts. There's a new kitchenette with stove, but no pans. The shower head sprayed more water out the back than the actual spout so we couldn't bathe, which was the last……

“The floor in my room was absolutely filthy. I made the mistake of taking off my shoes and walking across the room in my bare feet, and when I return to sit on the bed, the bottoms of my feet were absolutely black. I took a couple of washcloths and wet them and wiped them across the floor in the areas where I would be walking. The washcloth turned completely black. Every time I walked in the room ,the bottom of my shoes would turn black and so when I would step on a towel in the bathroom by the……

“The room was clean. We asked for cleaning service every other day. No one came. Had to ask for clean towels. The shower rod was loose so the curtain kept slipping causing water to get on the floor. The screws were coming up on the trim between the floor and the carpet so we had to put a towel to cover them so we didn't trip or stub a toe on them. The pool didn't look very clean. Wasn't filthy though. The room was small, but since we were using it just to sleep, it was okay.”

“It was a small motel which was great so not a lot of traffic. The room was nice and clean and the ac worked great. Close to food places.”

“The staff's service was excellent, which made me feel at ease. In particular, I am very grateful to Mr. Dauton at the front desk for his very kind checkout assistance. I felt the water pressure in the shower was very weak. The facilities are old, but I was able to rest well.”
