Fabulous cottage
Spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable cottage. Absolutely perfect for our needs. Lovely open plan layout with a great log burner in the open plan area (the dog’s favourite spot). The beds were very comfortable and although we were there in January, it was never cold in the house. Lovely powerful showers and the kitchen was well stocked with adequate crockery and cooking pans and utensils, coffee machine, washing machine, dryer, hoover etc. The views over the estuary were great, we spent a lot of time in the chairs in the lounge watching the boats come in and out. The garden, although with some steep steps, had some great views and decking area, fine for our three year old and dog as the steepest steps had a gate. The beach hut and decking was fantastic, although we were there in winter, we still spent a bit of time out there, I can imagine it’s fantastic in summer, complete with a bbq and glass of wine watching the sunset. There is also a shed to store bikes if you need it. Overall an excellent stay, we would definitely return.
