“Rental process was very easy. Property had the advertised number of beds and located on a lovely lake. But for the cold and rain would have been a very satisfactory experience.”

“Due the weather we did not use the hot tub or lake activities. The home is well maintained, clean and as advertised. The host was available to answer questions. Instructions tor arrival were clear. Two minor issues: The house number is not available from the street. It would be nice if the number is on the house by the street. There are four ceiling fan/light remotes. The batteries were dead or missing, so the controls wouldn't work. We replaced the batteries so we could control them.”

“We had a memorial for my father who taught at the U of M. We had family from all over the country attend. Weather was brutal cold but the lodging was spacious, clean and comfortable. We played board games we brought and had a few family meals. Would definitely recommend this place if you need lots of sleeping rooms.”

“The host went above and beyond on a cpl different items. Cleaned out the garage so I could park my trailed motorcycle inside, let us check in early and was very responsive on both occasions. House was clean and stocked with coffee and welcoming snacks. Plus a bottle of wine on the table. It just so happened to be a bottle that I liked. I did leave a bottle In return of a different wine. Highly suggest visiting The Filling Station for the best burger you’ll ever find. It’s just outside the……

“Our teen girls group had a great time at this house. A fire pit, kayaks, and a large house to spread out in. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Pretty quiet area despite how close the houses are together. Owner texted back quickly with help when needed. Thank you :)”

“My two young daughters (8 & 11) and I loved the house. It's tucked away in a small neighborhood right next to downtown Howell, nice and quiet on an inlet to the nearby lake, with everything you would want within 5-10 minutes (groceries, restaurants, pharmacy, etc.). The house is perfectly stocked in the kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms which was nice, and the host was very gracious and responsive. The house itself was the perfect size for us but could've held a few more people easily. It had……

“Exceptionally gracious host with ultra fast communication. The house was quiet despite being on a busy road. Only challenge was the heating system - confirm with owner that it's been dealt with before renting in cold weather. The downstairs was very cold and the upstairs extremely hot. Perhaps it was just an adjustment we missed or one that they can make. We would happily consider staying in the property again. It's really nice having a wonderful host to work with!”
