“Ross and Margaret are the sweetest people with the perfect cottage. The cottage has everything you will need. The bed was the most comfortable bed I had in my 34 days on holiday. The water pressure for a shower is perfect. They made recommendations for dinner and it was spot on. Personally I loved watching the sheep so much I could have sat on the porch with a bag of chips and been happy. The cottage is country but only A short drive to town. You will love staying here.”

“We loved this little house. We felt welcome as soon as we walked in.It has a lovely homely feel, with such nice decor, and everything you could need including a stunning view of the sea. The location is great - so near to the beach cafe as well. Our only regret is that we could only stay for one night.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed my stay with my dog. Great location to the CBD and Queen St., Park. Unfortunately had bad weather so wasn’t able to enjoy the patio but a very nice garden. Highly recommend!”

“Great location.Quirky wee cottage that possibly needs a bit of a joosh up.A new heat pump as was Abit chilly.Electric blanket we couldn't get to work in main rm and needs maybe Abit of a more thorough clean.Over all enjoyed our stay and it's a dear wee place.Doggy happy too”

“We all loved this farm property. The house was big and very comfortable. The beds were amazing, very comfortable, slept so well. It was idyllic, quiet and we all enjoyed our time there. Loved seeing all calves in the paddock across the driveway. I would recommend this property if you want a country stay, it was fantastic.”

“Me and my dog had a lovey stay. Everything was as advertised and that TV is insanely big. Very warm home with modern amenities, will be my go to spot whenever I'm down Invercargill. Beach is around a 5 minute drive and is fantastic as you can drive on it and get to a private spot to chill and take in all the views. There's also a Four Square that you can walk to and a nearby cafe. Host was easy to communicate with and is very responsive. Highly recommended!”

“The wotif communication was great but then it switched to Vbro which was both annoying and unnecessary doubling up on messages and needing to join to communicate via email.”

“The situation in a woodland property was nice. The interior was nice , although probably more rustic than luxury. It was good to have an open fire, because the living area was cold without it : perhaps a heat pump as well would be a good idea. We had to get lots more firewood from the woodpile especially kindling as we lit the fire each morning and evening. The living area was quite dark. The ducks outside were very noisy all night which was a bit disturbing. Overall however a different……
