「As always, the Lake Lure Inn was a delight. They used to have continental breakfast but weren’t offering during this stay. Always enjoyed the continental breakfast and it added value to the many stays there. We look forward to its return. In its absence we thoroughly enjoyed delicious breakfasts at a fairly new restaurant called The 828.」

「Wi-Fi was difficult to access, Would cut out very often.
I would strongly suggest putting no-slip strips on bath floor and/or installing grab bars for elderly patrons' (like myself) safety. Would have liked it if the breakfast opened at 6am instead of seven am.」

「The biggest drawbacks to the room
Were size, lack of in room amenities ( primarily a coffee maker) the bed linens / blanket were so thin I froze all night because the AC would never shut off- regardless of the temp it was set at」

「Accommodation was adequate, there are better option within the same 1/4 mile area. I think we were the only people without tattoos, breakfast crowd felt like I was eating at a homeless shelter!
That’s what low price gets you.」

「The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very well stocked very clean. The pet area was well maintained and easily accessible. The breakfast was well stocked and had two attendants to make sure things were cleaned up and well stocked. Breakfast was very good. All the staff was very friendly.」
