“We got on Expedia and were able to get a room in an hour of our stay. When we arrived they had written our name on the key exchange and had chocolates on our pillow with a very nice note from management. Our room was clean and tidy! The entire hotel was quiet and very clean. We were very pleased with our short stay! A great in between stop from Owensboro KY to Wilmington NC.”

“As always, the Lake Lure Inn was a delight. They used to have continental breakfast but weren’t offering during this stay. Always enjoyed the continental breakfast and it added value to the many stays there. We look forward to its return. In its absence we thoroughly enjoyed delicious breakfasts at a fairly new restaurant called The 828.”

“Loved our stay my only complaint is the parking - It’s either $50 a day for valet or $30 a day for self parking that turns over at 5a so you’re paying for at minimum 2 days. Also getting to the parking with luggage is a nightmare”

“Taking into consideration that the town is still pretty quiet and much is still not open due to Hurricane Helene, we had a pleasant stay. It was our anniversary weekend and I thought I had booked a room with a hot tub, but had not. The place was empty so I asked for an upgrade to the hot tub room, the website said there was availability and of course I was happy to pay any fees. The management said the room was booked for the weekend. I never saw any other cars come onto the property and the……

“Wi-Fi was difficult to access, Would cut out very often. I would strongly suggest putting no-slip strips on bath floor and/or installing grab bars for elderly patrons' (like myself) safety. Would have liked it if the breakfast opened at 6am instead of seven am.”

“The biggest drawbacks to the room Were size, lack of in room amenities ( primarily a coffee maker) the bed linens / blanket were so thin I froze all night because the AC would never shut off- regardless of the temp it was set at”
