「Very cosy but modernized historic property! Had its own pub and restaurant serving delicious food and drink, and our hotel room included a cooked to order hot breakfast. It’s in a quiet countryside but with easy access to towns for any needed supplies. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!」

「This was an amazing place to stay. If you are looking for an authentic "room above a country pub" experience. This is the place. It does have old pub quirks, the floors arent very level, and the access upstairs is challenging. But the charm of the beams and windows is undeniable. The apartment was beautifully decorated, and if you're into art, this places hums with it. We loved our time here. And its location means its easy to explore Gloustershire and South Wales. 」

「Great spot in a pretty village. Lovely countryside and neighbouring villages surrounding. Secure parking. Handy for Gloucester. Reasonably priced. Good pub nearby. Friendly host. Very nice breakfast - served early at my request. Cute dogs. Room was charming and well equipped, although it could benefit from the one thing I couldn't find...a fan. Very warm in the elevated annexe in the summer. Overall, excellent.」

「Old charming manor that is one of the best in Cotswolds. Having stayed at a couple others including Lords of the Manor, the positives of this one in comparison are: its easier to get to from London, the grounds are amazing and impeccable, its a truly remote feel among the hills, land and animals of Cotswolds, and the michelin starred Dining Room is probably the best food in the Cotswolds. The only real obvious negative vs say the Lords of the Manor is you arent in walking distance of a...
