“We really enjoyed our stay here. This is one of the most well-equipped VRBO properties we have stayed at. There are so many nice touches - nightlights, cozy fleece blankets everywhere, recliners for relaxing, enough towels for an army, extra tooth brushes, and even a glow in the dark toilet seat. The kitchen has everything, including top notch Le Creuset cookware. We enjoyed relaxing in the zero gravity chairs on the back deck. There's good Starlink internet, good water pressure in the shower,……

Only reason for four stars on the description is that we were all just a little disappointed that there wasn’t a hot tub, since the house overview had it marked, but on reading the description more carefully, we saw they were just referring to the bath tub downstairs.”

“The area is beautiful, very quiet and far from the hustle and bustle. Only a few miles from the park entrance and surrounded by nature. The accommodations were wonderful, easy in and out, well appointed kitchen, the large room upstairs was spread out and great for us, the kids and mother in law. Host’s reached out to make sure we didn’t need anything. All around great experience.”

“The house was nice and big and only 10-15 minutes from Lassen Volcanic NP. The property is cool with a river running in the back, and it’s very peaceful! Only thing I would ask for is updated pots and pans because they were all non-stick that wasn’t nonstick anymore so cooking was kind of a pain! But other than that, no complaints with this property!”

“Home is in a great spot to access the southern entrance to Lassen, just make sure the Lassen highway is open when you book. We were surprised to find the highway was still about half closed in the high elevations due to remnant snow still not cleared in mid-June. This meant less access to the park, but most annoyingly a 2 hour(!) drive to get to the North Entrance of the park. This of course is not the fault of the property owners, just a heads up about the location. If the highway is open, the……

“We enjoyed our stay at Latitude 40. We were comfortable and close (less than 1 mile) to our venue. There were a number of choices for a place to eat, as well as a nearby grocery store. There were good kitchen facilities and adequate cooking supplies. The host had provided coffee and tea choices and 2 different coffee machines (including a Keurig for both coffee and tea). And the host provided a basket with a good selection of snacks. We would consider a return visit.”

We enjoyed a week of quilting, shopping at a great quilt shop in Susanville, visiting breathtaking Mt Lassen Park and Burney Falls. We hope to return next year to explore more of the area.”

“Great place to stay. Within 2 minutes walking distance near the bathrooms, the property has three coin operated washing machines ($2.25 per load ) and four clothing dryers ($0.25 for 8 minutes) if you need clothes washed during your stay.”
