Paisley Park adventure

Spacious. Clean. Wonderful neighborhood in walking distance of so many things. Being able to do laundry is a plus. Communication with owner was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again!

Clean & Cozy

Visiting Minneapolis for a wedding with our adult kids - this was the perfect home base for our trip. The home was spotless, and in a great neighborhood for walking and grabbing a coffee at the local cafe.

Just like our Grandparents Cottage

Perfect description for the listing. Cozy, comfortable, clean. We enjoyed sitting out back since it was so warm and sunny. Great location with easy access to downtown. The owners were great communicators, quickly answered our questions and were great to work with. Happy to say we will book this again for our next trip to visit my nephew at UofM

NFL game trip

The property was suitable for a group like ours (4 adults) staying a couple of nights for an NFL game. It was quite close to the US Bank Stadium.

Nice Stay in a Good Location

Great Holiday Stay

I booked this for family to stay at during the holidays. Ed was a great communicator about some updates going on at the house and made sure everything would work for us still. The house was perfect for hosting a large group and had a very well stocked kitchen.

Fabulous stay!

This was our second time staying at grandmas cottage. The hosts are incredible with having our needs met. It’s an easy checkin and checkout process. The location is great and the home is very comfortable. These grandparents will stay again when we want to visit our grandchildren that live in the same neighborhood. Thanks for a perfect stay!

Comfy Grandma’s Cottage

We spent an entire month at Grandma’s Cottage and found it to be very comfortable. It is well stocked with anything you might need and then some. The hosts Heather and Ed are super helpful, responsive and friendly.

Accurate descriptions, well located for Theodore wirth, enjoyed biking and walking in area. Walked to coffee shops, utepils brewery and la Dona.

Christmas with the Family

This house was perfect for our stay! So cute and cozy! Loved the dining room table- perfect for meals and games! The living room was perfect for family time and movie nights! The location was close to other activities in the cities that we were able to enjoy. The only issues were the doorknob on the upstairs bathroom came off from the inside and needs to be tightened. The fire extinguisher needs to be charged to be up to code and usable. I would recommend adding some air freshener or an exhaust fan to the bathrooms to make them more friendly for large groups. :)

Family Time

Wow, we had a wonderful stay at this property! Our son is in his 2nd year of medical residency, he does not get to come home to Wisconsin often so we wanted a “homey” type of weekend for him since he could not come home for Thanksgiving. This home was everything we wanted/needed. Great location. We will be back for sure! The host were wonderful. Thank you!

Grandma's Cottage

Grandma's cottage was a great fit for my daughter, mother and brother traveling to MSP for a long Memorial Day weekend. The Bryn Mawr neighborhood has a nice coffee shop, Cuppa Java with a neighborhood feel. La Mesa was busy, but offers a variety of food for an evening meal. Grandma's cottage was centrally located for the moving around the city to various museums and parks. There is plenty of space in the bedrooms and various places to enjoy playing a board game or reading on some local history.

Grandmas Cottage

We were the first Grandma and Grandpa to stay at Grandmas cottage. We were so happy to find this home within a few blocks of our 4 year old granddaughter. This allowed us to watch our granddaughter and let our daughter have some well deserved free time and time with her husband. The owners are very accommodating. All of our needs were met staying in their cared for home. Location is great to get anywhere in the Twin Cities. Beds were comfortable and the house is clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this sweet home.

Cute house

The house was very cute and quaint. We appreciated how clean it was and the host accommodating a last minute change in our dates. We were not fond of the location. We also did it find the yard/fire pit to be usable as it was very dirty (table and chairs) and yard had no privacy or warmth. Not to mention the tree with falling walnuts every few seconds.

Just right for our family weekend!

This spot was perfect for our weekend stay! One of our kids lives in St Louis Park and another is at the UofM, and the location was ideal for spending lots of time with them. Our son just got a dog and the cottage was very accommodating, with toys, a bed, and food/water bowls. Just north of I-394, so easy travel to campus and downtown. We enjoyed a few nice meals at the home & used the grill, and we were also able to get out and visit the sculpture garden at Loring Park & MIA in Uptown. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. Comfortable beds. Great communication with the owners - they were super responsive and helpful!

Quick stay

This house was perfect for our needs. We were in town for a funeral, and this was exactly what we needed for some wind down time after family/funeral events. Road can be a little loud at night, but was not bothersome for my kids- therefore not bothersome to me. Main room seats 7 easily and comfortably. Hardest thing was appeasing the 1 yo, 8 yo, 9 yo and 4 30-something adults on one TV. Check in was easy and exactly as described in the emails. We had no need to communicate with host- that’s a good thing. If needed, would stay again without question.

Home Away from Home

We stayed at Grandma’s for a week, to attend a family wedding celebration. The house was clean and well maintained, and reminded us so much of our childhood home in Wisconsin, we felt at home right away. There was plenty of room for 4 adults to spread out and feel comfortable. The dining room was a perfect spot for two of us to work remotely. Location was convenient to the places we visited: Minnetonka, Medicine Lake, Farmer’s Market and Basilica of Saint Mary. Walked every morning in the neighborhood to Bassett’s Creek Park. The owners were very responsive to our questions. Thank you Ed, for the neighborhood coffee shop and pizza restaurant recommendations – both are worth the 2 block walk. We would definitely stay here again.

Super Nice Quaint Home

This property has a great location. Easy access to highways and byways and close to many shopping outlets. The place was really clean, the beds super comfortable. The sheets and bedding were a good quality. We had high confidence about this unit because of its cleanliness and the care taken in its preparation for our visit. Great communication with our host. There really wasn’t anything we could’ve asked for. I really liked the locks on the doors; their quality and ease of use. I was thankful that I could park my vehicle in a secured garage for the three nights we were there. I was impressed that the host had worked out a common code by which I could operate all locks; that was smart. Bonus was a real nice surprise. This is our first time using this service and we were really blessed by this experience. We are quite familiar with the other guys and this was very nice. We highly recommend this host and this home.

Stayed for Twin Cities Con

Met some friends from the internet here for Twin Cities Con, as we hosted a panel there together. Had an absolute blast. What a great location, close to everything, but far enough away where it's still quiet. Definitely staying here next year!
