"Absolutely loved our stay here. A once in a lifetime place to visit. My kids were amazed as it literally looks like you are driving into Jurassic park. Our room was beautiful with a full open view of the volcano and just gle. We woke up to monkeys in the trees, saw probably 100 species of different rainforest moths. Clean and comfortable room. My only issue was that we had several venomous wandering spiders in our hotel room which was quite scary with 2 young children with us. I understand the lodge is very deep in the jungle, but perhaps the lodge could inspect the cabins for good sealing. There are many venomous snakes near the walkways as well. Incredible experience, I would hesitate to go with young children due to the amount of venomous critters. But with older kids and adults it's a once in a lifetime experience."

"I had a wonderful stay at Tifikara by the waterfall! I highly recommend this hotel, the staff were super friendly and helpful, customer service was phenomenal! Location was perfect a 5 minute walk from La Fortuna waterfall. A special unexpected treat was the free guided night tour around the property the hotel offers where we got to see so many exotic plants and animals such as super colorful frogs! The free breakfast was delicious and the ahi tuna steak was a great choice for dinner. I especially loved drinking coconut water on the way to my room while enjoying the tropical scenery. I highly recommend staying here!"

"We had a fantastic time at Chachagua Rainforest Hotel. The resort is located in beautiful surroundings and we found the staff very helpful and friendly. While the resort felt nestled in remote surroundings, we had easy access to trips and adventures within 30-60 minute drives."
