The room was very clean and the view was wonderful!! But- the construction was deafening from 9-5 pm every day unfortunately, and you could even hear it from the beach. It felt as if you had to leave the property for some peace and quiet. Just wanted to be able to hang on the balcony and look at the water but was just so loud because of construction, which stinks because in our current home we deal with construction noises every day already. Other than that the room is wonderful, beach access 10/10, we did buy some laundry detergent because ahead of time i didn’t feel like there was clear direction as to where the laundry detergent was and it was too late once we found it. BUT. other than these things we enjoyed it and probably will be returning!

Family vacation

Great location, great beach view & access. Listing just as the pictures show. No issues with the construction still going on just working around the main elevator at the time we were there. Will be back, had an amazing time.

The locations is perfect. It’s ocean front!! Building has nice amenities. For the most part the unit was clean and up to date. The shower floor had a few rust spots otherwise we really liked it.

Nice 1 bdrm condo with great sunset views from the balcony. Enjoyed the stay with the exception of the water was shut off to most of the building between 8am and 5pm M-F. This was not communicated to us in advance.

Great location

This place is in the perfect location in Sandestin. The entire property is super secure and clean. The grounds are pretty and the beach access is so close. The room was okay - nothing to write home about. Main area was nice, bathroom shower could use an upgrade, and the bedroom could use some overhead lighting since its window looks out front into the hallway and is super dark. Overall Beachside 2 was awesome, Vacasa was awesome with communications, and it was a great time.

Nice condo! Needs black out curtains in the main bedroom, light from hallway shines through the current curtains at night. This condo is on the beach, however the beach access for ALL of SanDestin is in front of this condo, 4+ rows deep of people. ***no reserved beach access for this condo***

Black mold and smell bedroom

Keep looking. This condo does have a beautiful view BUT also has black mold in the laundry area and bathroom. Along with the black mold there is a disgusting smell in the bedroom. If you plan on using the pull out couch bring your own blanket. The blanket provided is not much thicker than a sheet so I had to cover my children up with our beach towels. I would not stay here again!

Just ate one night as a pass-through Sandestin, one of my favorite places to stay

This property was very outdated. It was shocking the smell when I walked in whoever cleaned the unit sprayed so much air freshener. I had to open the front door and the lanai patio and let it air out for 45 minutes. The hot water was turned off in the bathroom because the faucet is broken. The outlet in the bathroom was broken and cannot plug in the hairdryer, barstools were very old, and the leather was cracked to the point you couldn’t sit on them. Very disappointed!

Got there and the shower head was broken and the shower floor was covered in rust; some of the kitchen cabinets were broken; the couch had tears; and the kitchen table chairs were ripped. And there was massive construction going on just outside our balcony, which was deafening and made the entire condo vibrate. It took two days of serious complaining to get moved. The only positive was the bed was beyond comfortable, but there were zero blankets! Will NEVER return to this facility.

The unit was very clean. The view from the balcony was perfect. The website did not inform us that we would not have beach access from our tower. We had to walk next door to beach one to get to the pool The door code we were given for next door did not work. The carpet in the bedroom was coming up on the corner which is a trip hazard. The fridge doesn't close properly. The shower has rust stains on the floor and the caulking was coming loose. The tower is going through a renovation and the workers are there all day. Overall, we were disappointed. It would have been nice to have some info about the renovation before visiting.

Good, but not great

While I enjoyed the location of the property and the condo itself, any positive components were overshadowed by seeing multiple, small cockroaches on my very first night. I shared my concerns and frustration (along with pictures) with Vacasa, who responded immediately and stated they would notify housekeeping. However, no action was taken. It made for a stressful vacation because the last thing I wanted was to bring cockroaches home with me. For nearly $300/night, I expected much better.

Beautiful view of the beach! Very family friendly! Was able to check in early and the room was very well cleaned. Loved the privacy of the resort and beach as well! Will definitely be back to stay again!!
