Welcome to Justus Cottage (2BR/2BA, sleeps 6) in beautiful Hidden Dunes Beach & Tennis Resort. This first-floor cottage is nestled among water oaks and lush landscaping in a quiet, gated community on the beach side of Sandestin.

Very Nice Cottage, with everything you need.Even there are small things in the Cottage that could be refurbished, it felt like Home and was very comfortable. Excellent Location, two Pools close to the Cottage and 5 min. Walk to the Beach.Shops and Outlet Shopping within a 10 min drive.

Love Hidden Dunes

Loved the location, walking distance to beach and even grocery store and outlet mall! I enjoyed biking from the cottage. Bike lanes and bike paths to Port Washington State Park along with off road Singletrack trails in the park. We were there during the January snowstorm but it was -19F at our home in Minnesota, so no problems there. The unit could use a few updates, but it worked well.

Lisa and Scott were super to work with

We loved the layout of the condo and the neighborhood, also enjoyed the short walk to the beach. We felt right at home. The only so called complaint was that there was a bit of a moldy smell at first in the condo. We bought a couple of candles and sprayed everything with Lysol…..also several days we were able to air out the place by opening the doors which helped. It’s not due to the owners because I know that the humidity in Florida is the cause of this. I would definitely stay there again if Lisa and Scott will allow us to do so. We are planning on moving to Florida within the year and will need a place to stay again! Thank you so much Lisa and Scott!

Clean and Homey

The cottage is very clean and very homey. It’s comfortable and has a great layout. Everything you could possibly want or need is provided, dishes, pots and pans, etc. Great location and a nice short walk to the beach. Highly recommend.

Everyone associated with this property is incredibly friendly! The grounds are great. The beach is a bit of a walk, but they have a very reliable shuttle. Our particular unit, doesn't appear to have been updated in quite some time but we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Wonederful stay

Our family had a great time staying here! The cottage was settled nicely in a beautiful location surrounded by plants and welcoming walkways to the beach or pools. They also offer a beach tram to take you to the beach if you would like. The beach was absolutely amazing, with soft white sand and clear emerald waters. It was a very relaxing vacation and we would definitely book here again.

There were three women on this trip, and it was absolutely wonderful. The weather cooperated the entire time we were there. The grounds and the cottage was such a relaxing place. I would recommend it to anyone who asks me about the space and location.

Our Hidden Dunes Vacation

We loved the condo. It was more dated than the pictures, but it was perfect for us and roomy for 3 people. The property was beautiful as well. Again, more dated than the picture, but beautiful. The beach was better than we imagined, and the hot tub and pools were used every day. The only thing we didn't love was the traffic outside the resort. We rented bikes and our 12 yr. old with autism didn't like riding on the bike trail along that busy road, so we just drove the bikes to a different location to go biking....but that is not the resorts fault. The owners of hidden dunes must scrèen the renters well, because all the people there were very nice, and all the owners we met as well. I had a few questions during our stay for the owners of our condo and they always responded in a timely matter. And one last thing....we felt very safe there with the security team being at the entrance gate 24/7. A d they were very polite and always greeted us with a smile.

Bug and construction

Floors were sticky when we got there construction on top floor we arrived the 11 th starting Monday morning until Friday morning from 8 am to 5 or later the banging didn’t stop it sounded like pure demolition you could not enjoy your time inside at all rather it was the construction or not there were cockroaches crawling on the bed and a gigantic one crawling on floor in master bedroom I did take picture owners are amazing people but I myself was disappointed.

They were doing outside work on the unit the whole week we rented from 8 o’clock in the morning to 5 o’clock in the afternoon you could not even stay in the unit with how loud It was,hammering saws, banging things in the unit were falling off the walls and we kept hanging them back up, it made it not very enjoyable and no downtime from out of the sun or the beach areas because it was so loud. We cannot occupy space on outside deck, or long as the deck door to access pools, etc. because it was blocked off from the construction and obviously if that’s where the construction was you didn’t want to be on the deck eating or playing games due to the fact that they were right outside your window. If the owner knew this by the condo association, I would’ve liked to of been informed and been able to book a different unit.

It was nice….

Bed’s definitely need replaced along with washer and dryer. We pulled the sofa bed couch out to use and the mattress was dirty. We ended up just putting sheets on the couches which more comfortable instead.
