Sandpiper Escape wasa great placeto spendThanksgiving. The home isconveniently located the nSandestin. We could go to grocery store, restaurants, and shopping in the golfcart, which is always fun. The home is cozy, comfortable and in a beautiful resort area. Kitchen has everything. Unfortunately we had to leave early to evacuate for hurricane Michael, so were not able to enjoy the outdoor space and the golf cart.

If you want everything in one place, this is the spot for you. There is the beach (lots of people), the bay (we brought our boat and did tons Of fishing), the wharf which has amusement rides park type entertainment and restaurants. The provided golf cart will get you to all these places. The house has everything you need and more. It was a great spot for us and our two boys. Thanks for a great sharing this property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this perfectly located house. The golf cart was an awesome addition and made life much easier. The property management team/owners were very responsive to any questions we had. The parking is a little confusing and it was a little awkward when the neighbors parked basically at the front door. It made bringing things in and out of the house a little challenging. This is the 5th year we have stayed on the resort and it was a top 2 experience for sure.

We enjoyed a lovely week at this cute condo, and in the whole Sandestin area. The condo was equipped with everything we needed, and the golf cart added to the fun of getting around. The condo sports a large "drop zone" in the front, perfect to house all your beach clobber, and keep the rest of the property neat. The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds very comfortable. 2 negatives (both minor): 1) The bathtub drain was wholly broken when we arrived. (Bathtubs are essential with small children.) Despite calling the night we arrived, and receiving a confirmation text the next morning, no one came out to fix it. (I did tell the message company that it wasn't an emergent issue, but that I would like it addressed.) We managed to shower the 2-year-old that week, but still would have liked to actuallly use the bathtub. 2) There are not enough spaces to hang towels from bathroom use, especially for 4 people. Please add some hooks. Obviously, my complaints are very minor, and we would highly recommend this condo! Recs for the rest of the area: Southern Star dolphin cruise, Lazy Lobster at Baytowne, and Harbor Docks for great dining in Destin!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We would highly recommend Russell Vacation Rentals! They were so responsive in assisting us with our “snowbird” rental in Sandestin in February. Our lovely house, 739 Sandpiper Place, was perfect! It was so well equipped! We had the use of a golf cart as well! The house was cozy and cheerful! It also had a closet full of beach toys and chairs. The whole experience was wonderful and we know we will use this rental company in the future. Pat & Dianne Hall
