“Staff were brilliant and helpful, rooms were basic but clean, unfortunately the restaurant and bar were closed as it was out of season but it would have been nice to know that beforehand. Perfect location for La Mata only a very short distance to the town with lots of choice for bars and food. Request a sea view early if you want one. ”

“Er waren zeer beleefde en aardige personelen. Ze konden op elk vraag van je antwoorden. Het appartement was dichtbij de zee, wat zeer handig was. Alleen vond ik het jammer dat de koffiemachine met een oud systeem werkte.”

“The castle was incredible. We are a small race team and we had a pre season test in Spain and needed a place all the new athletes could get to know each other, bond, train and generally spend time together and this we just perfect. Will look at booking for next year for definite. Thanks”

“Overall well worth the price paid, but when we have stayed at other villas in the past the keyholder always made contact on the first day or so to see if everything was ok but not here but we did have 2 contact numbers in case of any problems but we had no issues at all and would stay here again.”

“No wifi in rooms and only in reception.. bar and restaurant closed most evenings .. pool closed .. Access to wifi was a real problem for me and needing to sit in reception to do my work was very inconvenient. Furniture in rooms very uncomfortable.. Located in a good area but this time of the year most places are closed ”

“The property and communication with owners and manager were excellent. We were in this location for almost 6 weeks and found there is lots of opportunity to enjoy the beach, only 3 blocks away, as well as travel to many interesting locations within a 100 km radius. The shopping is great, including the Friday market, and the restaurants are frequent and very good. We did find the furniture to be lacking in comfort both in the living room and outside. “This villa is ideal if you want a pool. The pool is spot on and clean and is in a perfect position for the sun all day. The villa is a little dated and is a bit mis match, it could would benefit from proper glassware instead of plastic glasses The lounge is lovely and comfy, internet is hit and miss because of the proximity in the hills. Bedrooms do need to be updated. The host is extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is to much trouble. Overall the outside of the villa does make up for……

“The villa was on the outskirts of Torrevieja - we wished we'd hired a car as it was hot walking. Torrevieja centre & market were walkable. The villa is a quarter house and was spacious and well equipped. It was in a quiet area so good for relaxing. Good air conditioning & bathrooms with great showers. There was a Mercadona supermarket, bars, various restaurants and shops 10 minutes walk away. The Indian restaurant was very good but there was also Chinese, Mexican, Spanish, Mediterranean and……
