Good times.

Great house to stay in. Close to shopping and restaurants....but not too close. Great dock area on a really nice deep water cove. We had a blast as always at SML.

We loved it. I do recommend that you add some lights to the path to the dock for night time, walk down it very dark and we had to use the lights on our phones.

The perfect spot for a house on the lake. The dock is in a quiet inlet and the house is spacious and clean. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Lakefront House

We had a great experience at Papa Don’s Place. The location on the lake is very central and a short boat ride to main lake. We really enjoyed the outdoor area and fire pit in the evenings and our dogs loved the yard. The game room in the basement was an added plus and there was an awesome movie selection for quiet nights in. The house was exactly as listed, a little dated but very well kept and clean. The tub in the upstairs bathroom will need repaired soon as it has a large crack. The mattresses also could do with being replaced as they are getting a little long in the tooth. The boat dock was great to tie our boat up to but heads up you have to turn on the dock light switch for the outlet to work to charge everything up! The rental company was very responsive and helpful with all our questions. We will definitely be back!

Nice place

Nice little house overlooking lake, with dock, and with sitting area and firepit on shore beside dock. Boat rentals a short drive away, with quick / easy access on lake back to dock. Restaurants also a short drive away. Kitchen was well appointed and house was clean, with everything that we needed. Accommodations were well suited for four adults and two children.

Birthday weekend

Loved the location and the house was the perfect size. Only issues was with pet hair on everything (Furniture, carpets, beds) and that animal smell. We do not have pets due to major allergy of a family member and this was an issue for him
