Situated 15 minutes from Montemor-o-Novo and an hour's drive from Lisbon.
Traditional and cozy country house with 5 bedrooms, one of which is a suite. Spacious living room and dining room as well as games room.
Large outdoor seating area, very nice and with a large dining table, with wonderful light.
Satellite TV with Netflix access, DVD player, iPod docking station, wireless internet access.
Pool 50 meters from the house, fenced not to allow access for young children.
Large garden around the house, as well as vegetable garden and orchard. Flock of sheep and goats grazing on attached ground. Wide variety of birds including storks.
Possibility of varied walks on foot or by bike.
30 minutes from the World Heritage city of Évora, 30 minutes from the town of Arraiolos, famous for its carpets, castle and Monte da Ravasqueira wines, 50 minutes from Comporta beaches and the Troia golf course, 25 minutes Vale do Gaio dam and the city of Alcácer do Sal.

Merci à Miguel et sa compagne pour leur accueil, Le séjour a été très réussi. Miguel n'hésite pas à partager les bons plans et bonnes adresses. La maison est vraiment très agréable et très bien équipée. Merci également à Mme Maria pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. Miguel a été très réactif lors de l'incident de la ligne électrique qui a cassée en pleine soirée. Vous pouvez lui faire confiance les yeux fermés. Très professionnel. Nous recommandons la villa.

Casa com excelentes condições que proporciona uma boa estadia/ boas férias. Quer do ponto de vista funcional, quer do ponto de vista estético é uma óptima opção. O espaço envolvente é tranquilizador e belo. A piscina é um bom complemento. Os proprietários são simpáticos, eficientes e não invasivos. Parabéns.

Paraíso bom alentejo

Não podíamos ter tido uma melhor experiência no Monte dos Baldios. A casa é lindíssima e muito bem equipada e a zona da piscina é o local perfeito para relaxar. Um óptimo local para passar uns dias de convívio com família e amigos. Aconselhamos vivamente!

Portuguese delights

A true jewel, set in a lovely place. The house, the garden with pool, the surrounding and people, all so nice and gentile. A property ideally set for a family gathering. Enough space and nice cosy corners. The pool is properly fenced against little children. The garden is both a collection of flowers and a wild park, leaving kids all time and exploration they need. In the surroundings there is a lot to discover. Nature is all around, but if looking for something mor cultural challenge one can go to Montemor (nice castle ruins), Evora (beautiful in itself, nice shops and interesting historically), discover a cave (Escoural), the astonishing neolithic art of Dos Almendres (must see) or try to find a iron age hill fort in the hills nearby. However, the biggest gift of all are the people itself! One tip, probably depending on the time of the year: bring some deet.

Adorámos a nossa estadia no monte dos baldios. A casa é super confortável ideal para uns dias em família ou com amigos na tranquilidade do Alentejo. A casa está equipado com tudo o que é necessário para uns dias de conforto. O aquecimento central e a companhia da lareira fazem esquecer os dias frios do mês de Dezembro. Muitos parabéns aos seus proprietários.
