The property was beautiful. The staff were very helpful. It is a little hard to figure out check-in because you have to ring into the hotel by a doorbell, but the grounds are very safe and well worth the stay.

Wonderful location in the heart of Montepulciano. Large, comfortable room with an amazing view. Venture up to the rooftop for an even better experience. The only concern was that the air conditioning was not operating, perhaps because the weather had just started to heat up.. It was not overly hot when we visited, but a little cool down would have been nice.

Lovely hotel. Right next to the historic town center and extremely close to the wineries and great restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and provided a lovely view of the valley. The view from our very spacious room was stunning. Parking is indeed free. You can drive close to the hotel, unload your bags, and then descend to the designated parking area to leave your car. The hotel is very private, and we had what felt like a private entrance. Sometimes it's nice to have a bit more contact with the staff to learn about the town, but this was not the case here. The only disappointment was the breakfast. It was not included, but for ten euros I would think they could have made more effort. There were few guests and could easily have asked what we might like, allowing them to have fewer, but fresh options.
