Beware! Room doesn’t at all resemble pictures. This place craves for renovation and painting. Mosquitoes slapped against walls. Full of bugs. Fridge not working. Extremely noisy, kind of paper-thin walls. If you are not an Italian in your seventies, run away from here.

Very nice & confy hotel. We stayed in nice appartment with beautifull view about 100m from the hotel. Excellent breakfast and service.

Un gran hotel! Cómodo y tranquilo.
Es un hotel lindo, tranquilo y cómodo. El personal muy amable, la habitación amplia, cama cómoda, baño limpio y funcional. El único inconveniente fue que no servía el aire acondicionado, todo lo demás excelente.

Beautiful Toscana
We had an extremely pleasant stay at Villa Ambra. It’s location just 4km outside of Montepulciano was ideal and allowed us to travel to the town and wander very easily. Breakfast was plentiful with local delicacies and both our room and the communal areas of the hotel were clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was excellent and, even at the height of summer, there were relatively few people using it at any one time. Above all, however, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, encouraging us to use Italian when we could, but also fully fluent in English as needed. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Tuscany.

Nice and quiet property. Has its own bar and restaurant service. Need a car to negotiate move from the hotel. Only thing I didn't like for the price was the room size.

Villa Ambra for an experience of a lifetime
Absolutely fantastic. Very close to Montepulciano which is an amazingly well preserved Tuscan hill town with incredible art and architecture. The underground tour at Ercolano winery is an experience that will create lifelong memories. Viila Ambra itself has beautiful grounds and a very well-maintained pool. The 2 BR apartments are quite large with balconies running the length of the units and overlooking lush forested grounds. The restaurant on the grounds is fantastic -- we ate there 3 of the 5 night we spent there. The service is extremely friendly -- make you feel like family.

La struttura dell hotel è molto datata e anche gli esterni non sono valorizzati. L area bar e ristorante al contrario sono molto carini. Il menu della mezza pensione è fisso, non da alternative tra cui scegliere. La camera definita superior vista parco vedeva su un angolo dell’edificio e sui condotti dell’aria.

Familiäres Hotel mit sehr leckerem Abendessen
Wir haben zum 2ten mal 4 Tage hier verbracht. Schöne ruhige Lage mit Parkmöglichkeiten vor der Haustür. Gutes Frühstück und ein sehr sehr gutes Abendessen. Wein und Olivenöl aus eigener Produktion. Wir kommen wieder.

Accueil très chaleureux. Hôtel avec ascenseur. Souper délicieux. Entreprise familiale à environ 7 kilomètres au sud de Montepulciano. Entrée de la route qui se rend à l'hôtel difficile à trouver.

Struttura situata a 6 km da Montepulciano, nella borgata di Sant'Albino. Bella piscina inserita in parco alberato, dove erano collocati alcuni giochi e tavolini per approfittare di un po' di relax. Ottima la colazione e stanza confortevole e grande (abbiamo soggiornato in 4 persone).

A bit far from the city center, so you will need a car to get there. But it's a great location and the hotel has great space, including a good swimming pool that the kids loved after a full walking day.

Good base to explore from
Good for a budget stay just outside of Montepulciano if you have a car. It’s a bit out of the way if you don’t have own transport though. It wasn’t spotlessly clean but it was alright. Dinners in-house are rather expensive, however the breakfasts are fantastic! Good as a base to explore from but we didn’t want to spend too much time just hanging around the venue.
