Old Victorian style decor, property was well kept and staff was very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to all the attractions in Pacific Grove, beautiful views, we had a great time and will make reservations again at this establishment.

The location can't be beat - right on the ocean, near a path along the water, walking distance to the aquarium and walking distance to downtown Pacific Grove. It was absolutely beautiful, with lots of sea life - including sea otters every morning. The Inn was spotless, breakfast great and water and coffee all day - much appreciated. The staff was super helpful. Parking is a bit tight, but there's on-street parking available.

There is no better location in pacific grove. You can walk to lovers point and walk to cannery row. The view is amazing. Staff is very helpful. Each room is unique and one must pick the right room. We were in cottage and there was a partial view of ocean. It’s towards the back of the building on first floor.

The room was so cute! You can light the fire place and it makes the room so romantic! Breakfast with an ocean view was the best! Custom breakfast every morning was so delicious. Has a wonderful library, game room and FABULOUS outdoor patio. Very convenient to have a parking area even thought it is first come first serve but still worth it to arrive a little early durning the busy seasons so you won’t have to worry about finding parking by the ocean. Staff were so kind and helpful! Hotel is so close to lovers point, downtown and all main attractions that we walked everywhere from the hotel! Will definitely be coming back 10/10 hotel and service!

The room was so clean and it was so beautiful. We stayed in “ The cottage “ and the view was beautiful. The property clean as well. The location was perfect to walk around and so close to the beach. The breakfast was supper good as well. They had a breakfast special and then three other options if you didn’t want the special. Staff was supper friendly and the property was very safe, quiet, and well maintained.

The staff (Michael) warmly welcomed us and gave us a tour of the entire place - so much room to enjoy reading, sitting out side or inside, playing pool or ping pong with fabulous ocean views from several rooms including the dining room! Our room was clean, charming and relaxing with stunning ocean views! We enjoyed watching the sea otters in the distance from our windows. Then we walked a short ways to find a local place for dinner - a perfect evening. It was just as described and pictured on the website. We hope to come back again and have recommended this place to our friends.

The room was beautiful. The staff was phenomenal; very friendly and welcoming! The only downfalls were no fridge in the room and no TV. I was only there to sleep, but a TV would have been nice. If you’re mobility challenged, you might want to consider somewhere else. It is not very handicapped accessible.

The Martine Inn is a really nice place. It was clean, in a super location and breakfasts were wonderful. Oh and the view was fantastic! We walked to Pacific Grove for all of our dinners and walked the ocean (bay?) front every day. We could have easily walked to the aquarium and other Cannery Row businesses if we desired. The draw backs are: the rooms are quirky, not bad just quirky. So be prepared for quirky. The coffee is hot with fruit seasoned water all day but after 10 PM there is no refresh until 7 AM. So if you are planning to have a cup of coffee before 7 AM, you will have to wait. Lastly, we went down 4th street to the Inn's entrance and I am glad we did. There is parking on Ocean Avenue but you have to carry your bags up a couple of flights of stairs. Now we parked on 4th but even if you couldn't park on 4th...you ought to go down fourth to deliver your bags. Having said all that...we will be back. Staff was friendly, Inn was clean, location was perfect and breakfasts were the best!

This is a 127 year old mansion. Beautifully restored. Things were different back then. You get to enjoy what things were like then before all the technology entered the scene. No TV in the rooms which was a nice change and an incredable coastal walk moments away from the property.,..quiet, peaceful, and great physical exercise. We got to know some of the local sea gulls who visited our windows at the Parque suite. Just a great experience!
